01 · First light

The day starts before the sun does.

You are out of camp by half past five. The plains are cold, the light is flat and low, and nothing has been disturbed yet.

02 · What lives here

Nine days in ten, you find them by watching what everything else is looking at.

04 · The people in it

Half of what people remember afterwards has nothing to do with animals.
